Bio-Energetic therapies refers to procedures that use the energy field of the body to screen for a health condition by detecting imbalances and then to correct them.

After completing an Health Assessment, the practitioner proceeds to do a Bio-Energetic Analysis. This is a "data acquisition process" with which the trained practitioner can conduct, by “measuring” the meridians used in acupuncture, an "interview" with the patient's organs and tissues, gathering information about the basic functional status of those systems and their energy pathways.

Bio-Energetic Analysis is an investigational, not a diagnostic device. It allows to verify the effectiveness of therapies and that no further traces of illness remain at the end of treatment. Bio-Energetic Analysis requires the practitioner's knowledge of the principles of acupuncture, physiology, and therapeutic substances; this in order to interpret the energy imbalances, establish their source and select the most appropriate response.
